Classroom learning and school technology

The progress card is changing. Is the school workflow ready?

A holistic progress card is not a longer report card. It is a different way of noticing learning—through evidence, reflection and patterns over time.

Beyond a single score

Academic marks remain useful, but they cannot describe curiosity, collaboration, persistence or the way a learner applies an idea. Those qualities require specific observations connected to real work.

The workflow challenge

If every observation becomes another form, teachers will reject the system. Evidence capture must happen inside the existing lesson, assessment and feedback flow, using small prompts and reusable competency language.

What parents need

Families need clear examples: what the child attempted, what changed, where support is useful and what can happen next. Narrative evidence builds understanding in a way a coloured rating alone cannot.
